This ground floor remodeling of a typical London home in Catford sees the removal of an internal wall, creating a large open plan kitchen and living room. The introduction of a large picture frame window seat floods the room with natural light whilst framing views to the garden beyond. Exposed Douglas Fir beams form the new roof and skylight and internal joinery of the same wood ties the project together.
